leather)

YKK zips and Old Brass fittings complete this bag.

Vegetable-tanned leather (often called veg-tan leather) is a high-quality, natural leather that’s tanned using tannins found in plant materials like tree bark, leaves, and roots — rather than synthetic chemicals.

Tanning takes several weeks using traditional methods with natural tannins, making it more eco-friendly than chrome-tanned leather.

This slower, artisanal process makes it more expensive than mass-produced chrome-tanned leather

It starts out stiff but softens beautifully with use, making it ideal for structured products like bags.
Materials and Care

Canvas can be spot cleaned with mild soapy water.

Leather will soften over time with use, but may crack if left unused—Leather cream can be applied to keep it supple.
